Where is Nara,
and why go?
Nara is an inland prefecture east of Osaka and south of Kyoto. Nara City is in the north, while Asuka, Yoshino and the mountain areas extend south.

HOW TO ARRIVE
Kintetsu and JR trains connect Nara with Osaka and Kyoto. Asuka and Mount Yoshino need local trains plus walking or buses.
