Where is Fukui,
and why go?
Fukui occupies western Hokuriku between Ishikawa and Kyoto or Shiga. Fukui City is the main hub, with Eiheiji inland and the Echizen coast to the west.

HOW TO ARRIVE
Use the Hokuriku Shinkansen to Fukui or the airport bus connection from Komatsu Airport. Echizen and Eiheiji need local rail or bus.
