Nikko

Base plan: Nikko for early shrine access; Utsunomiya for dining and rail. Explore Nikko on foot, then order Utsunomiya gyoza, yuba and strawberries for your first regional dinner.

DAY 02

Mashiko

Start early for Mashiko. Keep the afternoon flexible for a local workshop or food stop, and look for Mashiko pottery and local strawberry sweets.

DAY 03

Nasu

Use the final day for Nasu. Check the last return connection before departure and send large luggage ahead when buses are involved.
