Where is Tottori,
and why go?
Tottori stretches along the Sea of Japan coast in eastern Chugoku. Tottori City and the dunes are in the east, while Daisen and the western area sit closer to Shimane.

Use the airport bus to Tottori Station. JR limited-express trains connect with Okayama; a car helps for Mount Daisen.
