Where is Fukushima,
and why go?
Fukushima is the southernmost prefecture in Tohoku, immediately north of the Kanto region. Aizu is in the west, the Bandai area is central and the Pacific coast is far to the east.

HOW TO ARRIVE
The Tohoku Shinkansen links Tokyo with Fukushima and Koriyama. From Fukushima Airport, use the bus to Koriyama.
